fuel pressure question

i have a pinto with the sierra injection which is coming off and a pair of carbs fitted what i want to know is can i use the injection fuel pump with a pressure regulater to suit carbs or should i change the fuel pump

You will strugle to get the pressure down enough using a fuel regulator , you would be better off getting the correct type of facet type electric pump for carbs .

You may still need a regulator even with a facet.

use a regulator with a facet pump dcoes run around 3-4 psi all day
