Help with rev counter

Hi, i just bought a cockpit, electronic rev counter. It has no wiring diagram. There are Orange & Black wires exiting counter above the stat Red,Green,Black. Can anyone help with what they are for (i rekon lights) & where they connect to. Cheers

black to earth

 

red to ignition

 

green to either - or + of the coil i forget which

 

 

something along those lines the 2 you allready have one of them must go to the coil to pick up the signal so you should be able to stick your green straight to that
