A quick question

Right, I have been designing some backgrounds for my Bebo blog but some of the images are too large when I upload them and this message appears:

Is there a way I can change this? Cheers

I not an expert but you need to make the original pics smaller or copy them then edit to make smaller in pic editor.

Yes thats what I thought but you have to do the pictures a certain size for each part. The bit I was trying to do needs to be 760x375 pixels but how can I make the image size smaller without reducing the size of the picture?

You can reduce the quality of the image which will bring it down in size.

 

Also, JPGs hold information about the picture, like the make and model of the camera that took the picture. You can remove that sort of stuff by using this program:

You can resize the file size without resizing the picture and there are plenty of options when doing so. Check this out!
