I'm painting my Capri and it's come out like orange peal.. how can I avoid this?

I'm using cellulose paint mixed 50/50 with some high gloss thiners, I'm keeping the gun about 8 inchs away from the car when spraying it and it has a good sized fan.I am running about 30 PSI.

it goes like that when the paint is too thick or the paint is curing too quickly/

best thing to do if its going peely is to pile the laquer on then cut it all back with 1200 and g3 it. will come up with a bit of hard work

just done that with my bonnet and its still a bit peely but not too bad now

just be careful, its a bit of an art (that i aint mastered yet) too thin your likely to get runs, too thick you get peel or even worse splatter
