Guest MK1gaz Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 The full monty 2.3 duratec MK2 rally car (black + white one) went well after it got into it's stride at 8000 revs . Shame it took so long to get up into it's power band cos it would have gone much faster

THE HUNTER Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 I cant belive i done a 13.4 in my mk1 at the weekend with all steel panels all the glass some bits missing and a standard pinto engine just with cam, 40s and exhaust! what a weekend best CF so far! mate that was a good week end didnt get much sleep

Guest MK1gaz Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Billy done a 1.7sec 0-60 foot , 1/8 mile in 8.50sec at 79mph and the 1/4 mile in 13.4sec at 97mph . Pretty unbelievable performance really considering the engine came straight out of a scrapped pinto granada last month !!!!!!!!!
Guest MK1gaz Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 1.7 60ft pretty dam impressive Billys car went faster every run as well mate , it would have done a 13.2 on the last run (according to the 1/8 mile time split) but he missed 4th gear and clock kept ticking !!!!!!!
