Bruntingthorpe

Well i take it that the Airfield that Ben talks about in this months mag is Bruntingthorpe ?

This noise crap has been going on for 20 years that i know of !! Back in the late eighties the NASC held there street rod nationals there for 3 (or 4) years but was hounded out by the local inbred rednecks each year they found a noise to complain about even though the little garage must have sold more petrol over those 3/4 show days than it did all year

 

As the airfeild was built during the second world war i doubt that there any people that live in Bruntingthorpe or Gilmorton now that did so befor the land was requisitioned by the ministry (could they still hear anyway !!) This means the the people that complain are the ones that bought a house there knowing full well what goes on

How about a getting a meet going in Bruntingthorpe

Lots of bike and car manufacturers use it on a daily basis for testing there products going round and round and round all day and they pay big money, they dont need hooligans like us anymore.

Yeah, didnt you see the speed camera that i went past at 1**mph
