As above do they fit and if so whats involved my car is a 1972 mk1 escort 1100L

 

If anyone has done this or knows how to do it any help would be greatly appreciated :D

to be honest mate you might find it sits way to high and is too stiff a ride.

 

prob best just saving for the coilovers if you can

why you wana add a servo for? direct pedal gives a more positive feel.

get some 2.8 billes with lowering springs will do the job for the suspeion fine,coil are for race and rally cars. to get them to fit,you need a mk2 escort rack with metric tie rods

You should be able to bolt capri struts straight into a mk1 escort, they already have the correct taper on the track rod ends.

 

See how it sits before you buy any lowering springs. Didnt 2.8i's sit lower than a normal capri anyway? I have 2.8 struts with (i believe) standard springs on my mk2 and it sits the same as it did with escort struts and -2" springs.
