right been working on the 4 door escort,

 

last time i took it out it was worse then i started

 

last time i ran it with the 2.0l carb it was slower then when it was with vv carb

 

now ive got the timeing spot on,fitted a 4 branch,and im changeing the carb now and putting the 3.0l choke lingae on it,and have a go a seting the tappet's as well,

 

it now as a real bark to it might be a little to noisey as im running straight through to the back box

 

so what do you reckion im still not happy with the car at the mo,and running out of ideas that are cheap to do,like dont cost any-thing

if it's a 1600 fit a 2.0 cam hekps get the extra fuel in from the 2.0l carb

it's got a stage one head on it and it's a 2.0l but i think it go's like poo

mate get some 40s on it and decent cam sounds like the heads done. mines got that it runs 15.1 1/4s

it's already got a kent cam, but could use some 40s if they are free

if the timing was out before then having done that should have help it, made the world of difference to mine when i first got it m8
