ann_capri Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 well its that time off the year when the kids drive you mad to go to these things , my kids school make shaw the drum it in to the kids everyday for the hole week , so thats my evening sorted as jem is driving me mad , will post a pic later of what jem has her face painted as i really hate them as you always spend more than you intend to who else has one to go to before the end of term and what do you think about them
Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 20, 2008 Admin Report Posted June 20, 2008 I was on the school PTFA for 7 years (and the playgroup PTFA for 4 years before that) but gave it up last year cos I figure I have done my stint .... this year, I am not even gonna go to the summer fete (next week-end) because I just cannot be bothered and I also don't have the kids with me that week-end and it's Ainsley's last year at jnr school. however, if they wanted to go I would go along and support it as it does raise funds for the school
ann_capri Posted June 20, 2008 Author Report Posted June 20, 2008 well done jo , had no idea you was a ex PTFA i dont mind going and always support the school , the first one i went to when we moved here 2 off my boys were in the school chior and preforming that day , i think is just the fact that jem comes home with loads of stuff

trakevlyn Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 We had ours a couple weeks ago, the whole family worked on a stall for the nursery where the wife works. We filled the Yellow Peril with over 100 balloons and got people to guess how many.( and managed to get photo in local paper) The kids always end up coming home with bags of cuddly toys and other assorted crap and hyper on candy floss and ice creams.
