ban1216 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Took my car into mikeanics today in congleton to be set up on the rolling road After 2 hours he managed to squeeze an extra 30 bhp out of it and it now goes like a train 154 BHP WITH 140 LBS OF TORQUE
ban1216 Posted June 20, 2008 Author Report Posted June 20, 2008 Good question Bought the motor off ebay for 500 notes and was told it is spedeworth hotrod spec Mike said the cam is pretty wild and was quite surprised at thepower himself head has been ported from the looks of it and i feel it may of been lightened and balanced due to the speed it revs at running a 38 dgas at the moment but was told if i fit 45s to expect another 15 bhp
Toby Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Alway worth the money in my experience to get the thing rolling roaded Good power mate - so what engine is that then - a 2.1 pinto?
ban1216 Posted June 20, 2008 Author Report Posted June 20, 2008 Not sure cos from what i read the spedeworth hot rod motors should be standard bore
MK2Ed Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Could be standard bore but definitely got a nice cam (RL maybe) in it and some good headwork for 150 & good torque ......... Nice one - 45's next then...
