Smudger105e Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Just sold a motor bike on fleabay, they guy picked it up, but I can't find the blimmin V5c. If he rings up DVLA or completes the V62 form, will he have to pay the £25? If he does, I will have to pay it Anyone know?
mk2_escort_chick Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 You can apply for one for free-i believe and then send it on to him signing the bit to say about change of owner, but... if u sell it without and he has to apply for one as the new owner-he has to pay for it I hope that makes some form of sense I know this coz orville came with no v5 and i've had to fork out £25 for a new one
Trevmk3 Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 i think that he more than likely will have to pay it, just hope you can find the V5c mate. you sure its not the anglia estate as you have everything else in there
Cookie Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 If you have none of the logbook at all you will have to pay, you only get away without paying if you still have that stupid little green bit (new keepers supplement, I think they call it). Heard that if you phone dvla playing hell because you applied for your log book months back and it has'nt arrived and you stapled the green bit to the application form, then you may swindle it for free, never tried it myself though
Smudger105e Posted June 26, 2008 Author Report Posted June 26, 2008 Looks like it is gonna cost me £25 then And it ain't in the Estate, because that does not look like it does in my sig strip any more as you know... and all the bits in the back were Anglia related, except for the Lotus steels, which could be Anglia related, but might not be [/ramble mode off]
