bmxdave Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Next year, once my apprenticeship has finished, im running away to Aberystwyth University. Problem is, theres a few courses i want to do, and i cant decide which one to do. Heres my shortlist. Physics with Planetary & Space Physics Space Science & Robotics Ordinary Degree in Physics Or do a Physics with joint honours with buissness Or one of these Computer Science Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence I think id enjoy the Computer science more, although itd be easier. Id find physics harder though. I was always very good at physics and have always had a massive interest in physics and space in particular. Whats everyones elses experiences of such subjects, or opinions? Ive got until pretty much the end of july for a good chance to get in, but in my head i have to be 100% that im doing it before i apply. Cheers
oldbus Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 We´re having similar discussions at "oldbus mansion" at the moment. My eldest will be finishing his A levels next year and the big question is what next...? At the end of the day it´s his call (even though his mum doesn´t agree ) Although he has several options i´ve said just do what you´re best at? At the end of the day Dave, you´re the one putting in the hours so it might as well be on a subject you fancy and are good at and enjoy doing - unfortunately it´s not always the sensible thing to do!!! Good luck with your decision mate...
