im wondering if its possible to buy all the conversion parts for the corsa/nova and then make it fit as id imagine the cars are similar in size upfront/

if your usinga type 9 you need the bellousing ( )

OR you can use a manta gearbox but there not very good

 

for a mk2 escort you need a manta sump to pass the x-member (or cut the vaux)

 

and you need a ford and vaux cluch

 

and some r1 bike carbs (42mm)

 

dont know anythng else

as u mention corsa/nova i take your fittin the engine for fwd

i can see what your saying drive shafts will be the big problem they will have to be custom made/modified. will probably need inner wings chopping up because the engine is about the size of a pinto and you have to chop the inner wings to put a five speed in a mk1 fiesta. what about a pinto fwd and space frame it don't think thats ever been done

yeah cant be arsed with cutting up the whole car to RWD it.... bit beyond my skills at the mo
