Does anyone know where i can get a decent set from with the sliders?? Also what is the main difference between perspex and polycarbonate? Cheers, Sambo

Make sure you fit the sliders, I had the perspex windows in my blue mk1 but didn't get around to fitting the sliders & got stuck in a traffic jam on Paignton sea front in the middle of summer!

Nearly boiled myself, I had to drive along the seafront with the drivers door open slightly & me hanging out!

I have heard some good stuff about plastics4performance.

I was also told by people who are meant to know that perspex gets that milky finish after a while and cracks easier. Anyone confirm/dispell this?

I was told about something called lexan (or something like that) which is even better and i plan to use it in my mk5 rs2k track car when i need it.

I have perspex windows in my mk1 and i need a slider for the reasons escortmad spoke of

Reckon they are about the best around, they form their window kits to match the shape of the original windows, very important for the rear screen as anyone who has tried to fit a flat sheet of perspex/lexan/polycarbonate will know. They put their windows in a huge oven on a former which allows the material to bend to the desired shape.
