Just been over to see an old mate today who rebuilds and runs top flight touring cars, Just chatting over a cuppa, and the question of HP came up, see those engines on the floor, theres a line of 6 Honda engines, all current spec BTTC, 300hp @9k with out a problem, With the restrictor plate removed and a decent induction system rather than the mandatory style one they use now he has seen 400hp, from a 2litre, I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!

I have seen one being bench tested and the inlet manifold ices up at full throttle and the exhaust glows cherry red, certainly is an Impressive bit of kit.

I would'nt mind his lockup full of castoffs, theres 10s perhaps 100s of thousands of pounds of bits that have been made, and perhaps were not as good or quick as hoped and just abandoned, or just been superceeded by better stuff, dribble dribble,

I was looking at most of the suspension from a ETC Sierra complete with lug mount hubs and OZ lattice wheels, Now they would be trick on my Cortina, but he wont sell a thing, BSTD
