isle of wight rs show

will anyone be coming over to the isle of wight for the rs show, i think its being labelled as ford enthusiasts at the moment but it should be a good one, all clubs from the island are invited as are you all, some of you came last year and it was really good to see your cars, and you of course, hope to see you again this year, event is toward the end of september, will post actual date when i have it, cheers

I had heard that it was to be held at the Haven Street steam railway this year but cannot see anything in the events section for Haven Street or for the events section of Robin Hill Country Park (previous venue).

 

I have googled IOW RSOC show and come up with nothing.

 

I have looked at the events section on the IOW RSOC website but the dates are all for 2007

 

Their forum is quite out of date and the only bit I can see being posted on recently is the General Forum which I cannot view without registering.... so, I have registered with them and am waiting for an activation e-mail.

 

They're deffo not making it easy for us to find out info on the show

 

As I understand it as well, Graham is no longer part of the organisation of the club

I will let you know when i hear anything but i will be very surprised if this comes off. I can still arrange a good weekend of fun if you want to come over (old skool cars only of course ).

update for this show, it is being held on 21st september at havenstreet steam railway, look forward to seeing you there

Right then boys and girls ... after a lot of thought I will not be going to this one this year so will not be organising like I usually do for the following reasons:

 

1. I can't really afford the extra expense after our Malta jaunt.

 

2. Part of the reason for going was the venue (Robin Hill CP) and Haven Street is not the same.

 

I had intended to do this one so I apologise to those who were waiting for me to sort something but I am declining this year, sorry guys.
