My hart is just not in it any more it will be going up for 5k no offers to make way for my next project. I am going to Eastbourne in 6 weeks to meet up with my dad. He has a mate that is selling one of these I have all ways mist my old Mexico and this has come up i its the same as the pic i have seen the car Meany moons ago. Don't no what its like now but my dad said its very clean My dad said its had a part resto about 8 years ago. But it has not been out side in about 5 years now. What are the do and donts to look out for in one of them now
hotrodholty Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 do's and dont's? do buy it dont not buy it like any other old car mate, rust is the only major issue, make sure it aint full of filler from its part resto. it would be nice if its all original aswell seen as most by now have been messed about with in one way or another good luck
scoobysean Posted July 24, 2008 Author Report Posted July 24, 2008 Thanks i will look at what its had done. I hope he has pics of the stage by stage resto. He is an old mate of my dads and he said he would not have put any mods on it at all. My dads words lol he was into his old classics till his wife past over then after this lost interest in it all. I am going into this with my eyes wide open with the intention of coming home with out it.
