ATB from what i have been told is a better diff if you want your car to go around corners on rails (ie on track)

If you want to slide you need a plate type lsd as they lock up more easily hence get you sliding easier

I have the plate type and it is the best thing i ever bought :D

I got a plate type lsd in a complete axle with a 4.4 ratio

when you purchase a lsd kit you will need to get somebody to assemble it into your diff casing so yes it will run with whatever ratio you have now wether you get atb or plate type

Atb has no wearing parts and will last longer without maintenance but the plate type will need some servicing occasionally (new friction plates)

The grin factor is well worth it

atb is slightly cheaper at about 450 but a plate type is about 500 notesnew

I paid 500 for mine in an axle :)
