OK, bit of a strange one but can anyone tell me if they know of someone or have themselves somehow replaced a pair of inner wings or complete strut tops from bulkhead right across to slam panel without removing their outer wings?...

 

The fella who owned my car before has made a complete hash of repairing the engine bay and I never realised just how untidy it was until after I payed out top wedge for having the bodywork and paint done.

Im in the process of an engine swap so now is the real time to have a go at restoring the mess.

 

Only thing is, like I say the car has been painted and the front wings are on DEAD straight-all the gaps are bang on and I am not keen to go and f**k that up aswell.

I myself cannot weld so if anyone has any suggestions or knows of anyone keen on osf's or more precisely escorts who is genuinely GOOD with a welder please let me know,

any help will be most appreciated guys and gals - cheers :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Wanna maintain a traditional escort bay to be honest mate, I suppose what Im after is a complete strut top replacement that extends a bit further down the inner wings.. its seems fairly simple to me apart from the turrets that join underrneath - it can be a bit tricky to get any solid answers from old wayne if you know what I mean :wink::lol:
