davey-jones Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 hi all ive been doin good for those who dnt no me i am the son of lee and ann capri i am based at pirbright well i have learnt how to shave if i get it wrong i have to do about 50 press-ups , i can run 5 miles in 15 mins , im a fully trained to fire a rifle , i have passed my rifle and rmt we had to carry 40lb jerry cans 100 meters x 5 which killed me the first time i did it but is easy now , ammunition lift which weigh 25lb , as for the mile and a half run i found easy and can now do that in 9 mins 10 have been to belgum for a weekend which was , saw a few osf's on my way home on the m25 as i was on there when eveyone was coming home from london 2 brighton , i have been to thorpe park which was only thing i dont like is that i still have to march every where after i have finish for the day and saddly i failed my drill test so i am being back trooped about 2 weeks , but mum said it was ok so i will stick with it and try again thats all for now

Pirbright is about 15 mins from where I was born and brought up Do you have another 6 weeks go go now? Then what will you do? Stay in or ship out?? and .... your mum is right ... stick at it and you'll get there
oddball Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Well done, Sounds like you have learnt a lot in a very short time Have watched a few of those 'fly on the wall ' army programmes were they put the newbies through their training and it looks really tough. As your mum says stick with it,you will be ok Mum's know best!
