i posted in the 'oldskool spotted' section and got a few replies from other users who sometimes head up that way and suggested we have a little meet up. ive spoken to local ppl but the more faces the better. i realise its not long after the meet on the 13th but were gunna head up there on the friday 22nd. friday means the novas and neons will be fewer as theyl all be off on the pills or something similar so we should be able to put up a good percentage and have a good little meet.post up here whos interested and can make it and itl be good to see faces etc.

i rekon head up there for about 8?

It's on the road that runs at the top of the hill overlooking Portsmouth/M27 ..... you can get there by going up past the QA Hospital and turning right at the roundabout at the top of the hill .... or ..... up past the Bowlplex in Havant ..... not sure how yoiu would get onto that road from Southampton but the road runs right along the top of the hill.

 

The car park / viewpoint we are meeting at is almost opposite The Churchillian Pub on the top.

come off M27 junc 12.

at traffic lights, straight across (signposted paulsgrove, cosham.

keep in left lane. straight through 3 sets of lights until you reach roundabout (first one you come to)

at roundabout left.

at lights, left (QA hospital)

past hospital, up hill to small roundabout.

3rd exit PORTSDOWN HILL.

follow until just after churchillian pub turn right into viewpoint car park.

 

sounds difficult, but once off junc 12 about 3 mins away.

have checked out the diary can deffo make it but will not be able to take the Cortina wont be fixed in time...
