Durham Fiesta Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 had my osf screen sticker for a while now and just remembered about it and wondered if anyone had any tips on how to get it fitted straight as it seems to be a nightmare getting it centred and level its the big www. one for top of the front screen
over_head_cam Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Cut it in half between the two O's on Skool That is the middle of the sticker. Then offer it up to the screen and put as couple of bits of masking tape as witness marks. Doing it in 2 pieces makes it a lot easier
Durham Fiesta Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 never thought of doing it that way
antz Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i used two people and did it in one piece. and yes its wonky
over_head_cam Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i used two people and did it in one piece. and yes its wonky  The 'two piece' method also means you can put a bit of a slant on it to match the curve of the screen
Trevmk3 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 did mine on my old escort front and back in 1 piece on my own and they were alright, mark the centre of your screen on some masking tape so you get it in the middle aswell
5hane Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 lol, who was it who put theres the wrong way round ?
zetecmk2 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i prefer them the wrong way round but would get sick of explaining why to thickoes!!!!

Copey Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i have avoided a sticker, i KNOW i wouldnt get it straight and it would piss my off to no end!
Seldon Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I measured & marked & tried not to stand on my bonnet.... & at the crucial point along came a gust of wind Still makes the car look cool though
countrybumpkin Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 stick it on before you fit the screen
