xbox live

Its doing my bloody head in, can someone help or suggest anything?

 

I did ask a long time ago and got it all working fine but my gold ran out so i stopped using it. Now ive just bought some points for forza 2's d/l cars and i cant get it to work at all.

 

Im using a firewire switchover cable which worked fine before. Its saying my ip address failed. I have my internet connection to shared. Ive looked through the menu's but cant find anything.

 

Any clues?

check your router is still showing your xbox connection and giving it full access to the internet. You can problem solve on the xbox website
