davreeve Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 As per title,I must be spending too much time in the garage as i,d started to give the spiders names So i decided to have a good clean up and remove all the spiders along with half a million woodlice and various other weird looking bugs .Have now repaired the roof and windows, painted the walls and floor, fitted flourescent lights and generally tidied it up so its a much nicer place to be.I dont have any before pics but try to imagine the interior of a skip and you,d not be far out. However this is what it looks like now.Nothing spectacular but should be warm and dry in the winter.
MEXY867M Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 funny enough dave I`ve had the last week of work (holiday)and that was one of my jobs and the amount of cobwebs was rediculous and had to empty the hoover twice, looks good mate,

Nettles Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 It's funny but it sounds like all the OSF'ers are starting to bed down for the winter. We all seem to be cleaning up our workshops and garages getting them nice and clean and warm ready for those long dark nights. I've just cleaned the dust out of my heater so it's ready to use. All I need now is a nice cuppa

MEXY867M Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 my garage cleaned up but wished I could put the mower and my sons electric jeep somewhere else
cyrix Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Funnily enough I am on with tidying up my new garage, going to brick up the window and fit a steel security door this week at some point. Just bought the house, mainly for the garage, its about 3/4's of a double garage wide and two and a half times as long as a normal garage!
caprinerd Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 well here`s mine every thing just gets put in there cleared some space for me to work but as you can see very tight to move now you can see why the capri was sprayed on the drive and not in the garage
