hotrodholty Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 i bought this stuff off ebay, its really good quality, wet the wrap first and wrap it as tight as you can securing it with steel zip ties (cv boot ties) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COOL-IT-by-Thermo ... .m20.l1116 heres mine all wrapped
antz Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 im finding my manifold a right bitch to wrap!!! the cable ties dont grip enough and fall off so i had to use some jubilee clips but i cant get a jubilee clip around certain aprts...
evildave Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 you can get some good ty rap guns that'll really tighten it up, try an electrical wholesaler and use 'panduit' stainless ty's. i could probably source some 12" ty's if you pm me

V8ian Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Thermowrap, says apply when damp, all the other stuff i have tried goes on well enough dry, for tying off, I normally use .6 stainless safety locking wire and twisted off with safety pliers,
Noodles Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 I just wrapped the important bits around the manifold
