GT_lenny Posted September 14, 2008 Author Report Posted September 14, 2008 really? i thought it was p!ss poor ! what they need is the backing of a club like this site or a magazine would of been nice to see a few traders too, Its a shame really because I think the venue has great potential for a wicked show, About 8-9 years ago I was involved with a mini club who organised a show there and because all of us(club members) had all been to plenty of shows up and down the country we knew how to organise/arrange things like where to have the car club stands, concours arena, and traders it all went well everyone enjoyed the show, and in the magazine write up the tramway museum took full credit for the event and never mentioned our mini club who'd marshalled the whole thing,so the next year we had nothing to do with it and it flopped due to poor organisation and advetising plus they put the entry fee up
Trevmk3 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 i got in for nowte it probably could be better yes, but its getting the interest to have an OSF show there. i was looking into having a stand there next year possibly if there was interest and also for another show but that was cancelled
Trevmk3 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 plenty of pics now uploaded http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=82985
