When welding on..

Coilover tubes on a strut do i only weld it on at the bottom or top and bottom?...

mine are top and bottom

So you put the screw nuts on before you welded the tubes on right?

didn't do mine but I guess so

Tim all the weight is held at the bottom, mine are only welded at the bottom, with a bead of mastic around the top to stop water getting in.

Well in the 'how to guides' room its got a link showing how to do it and the tubes only welded at the bottom....i'm gonna weld both ends to be safe i think....don't want my tina turning into a giant sled
