TwoLitrePinto Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 inlet manifold gasket broke or missing? carb to manifold gaskets? brake servo pipe? split? could be a vacuum leak
vibrating_Cake Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 have the carbs been synchronised/balanced? if not i'd get it done, or ask a few on here who know how . and run some carb cleaner (stuff you put in your petrol tank) through and spray some in the carbs themselves, theres so many nooks and crannies on the dellartos that can get blocked and screw up idle its unbelievable edit lol i read it again, yeh mine were doing that, before balancing the revs came down very slowley. after they just drop down to~1000rpm and stay there. also check for air leaks as above =)
