turrets

i'm thinking about turreting the back of my project mk1 escort as it has the early type dampers but i'm unsure on a few things firstly the different hights as idealy for me i would like to use quite short turrets so they would sit under the parcel shelf so can i get different length dampers or are all the dampers the same length thats why the turrets are different? and secondly is it ok to use turrets with a 3 link setup and leaf springs, i know wht everyone is going to say, go 5/6 link, i would but i want to keep the rear seat

3 link new 1 of me that,you can keep your seat with a 4 link system but the seats wont b all that comfy
