64 in a 40, i explained that i thought the road, which is a dual carrage way with no house's or even pavment anywhere near it was national speed limit. he said it should be a court appearance, 6 points and a fine, but because i thought the road was national speed limit (and i think he was more interested in the car) he would give me the normal £60 fine and 3 points.

 

i dont know wether i should be happy that he seemed to go easy on me or piissed off that iv got 3 points

 

was the copper right or just making himself look like a nice copper

i got done on the same stretch of road (the link way from gs to the bridge), in my daily, doin 53 last year . again i didnt know it was a 40, there are 3 small circle signs on the road, thats it. he told me i was his 6th of the day and he had only been there an hour and a half
