meXEco Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Does anyone have any positive experiences with an engine courier-i may need a crossflow engine/box collecting and wondered if anyone does this or have used a reputable one. Heard a few stories of cracked motors etc. so would obviously like to find someone careful or fully insured...
petrolhead01 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 where is the engine being collected from!!?
meXEco Posted October 14, 2008 Author Report Posted October 14, 2008 If all goes according to plan-Yorkshire to Cornwall.

petrolhead01 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 If all goes according to plan-Yorkshire to Cornwall. shame because if it was my way i would have happily brought it down!!
4parajon Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 i'm surprised to hear that about the couriers as the engines I've sent/recieved tend to be so heavy they tend not to get knocked about too much. I use TNT and would advise lying the engine on its side and wrapping it flat next to the g/box. I would think it will be expensive tho mate, £80 I imagine.
meXEco Posted October 15, 2008 Author Report Posted October 15, 2008 Thanks Jon-thats still not a bad price though mate-i was considering driving up but that would cost more in fuel.
Copey Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 i had my pinto delivered for £47, Messenjah gave me the company name, ask him for it, i cant remember what it was...
