samurai Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Do a group buy of something else Panels from ex-press panels?
Seals2 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 what ones should i ask about tho? Powerlites or Dynalite's? im interested in group buy at the right price/time but these two choices require 100% cleaning to the piston as no dust seals fitted. but are great brakes got a few mates with them on caterhams and they are s**t hot.
Slammed Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 come on guys we need a hand full of solid people who will invest in a group buy! please help shane out as people just drop out i will start a list who is defo buying- 1.5hane 2.youngosf please add on
5hane Posted November 2, 2008 Author Report Posted November 2, 2008 haha thanks gav Seals2 ~ the powerlites say the dont, but dynalites say "includes square faced piston seals for positive long life sealing" what calipers are dust seal'd then? and what diffrence will/does it make? cheers
Seals2 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 hi 5hane. they all brake around the same and are good brakes!!!! the dust seals jus prevent small grit / anti skid crap from getting caught on the piston and breaking the piston seal. ( normally when changing pads it happens so easy) from wilwood i think the midilite are the ones to use like on the caterhams cause the front wheels are open. if you use the car on road and though all weathers then dust seal would be better to have.
vibrating_Cake Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 im out sorry!!! i just won a mondeo caprisport caliper setup off ebay for peanuts!!!
