MK3 2door Cortina

Hi guys im looking for some colour suggestions to paint my Cortina when im finished rebuilding the body work, so do your best or worst

i love how that pic makes it look

 

i recon do it bronze lighter on the sides and darker on the top but have the paint follow the lines of the car

 

i would photoshop it but i cant use photoshop

The green and blue are quite striking but its not going to have a vinyl roof anymore, could paint it a different colour though

Funny as one of the ideas I had was a lighter copper than it already is but with a silver roof where the vinyl was and a couple of silver stripes low down on the doors or somewhere like that. But I do like this too

 

I see you have given HOFF a bit of a roof chop in your Photoshop, looks good

lovely looking motor, wouldnt mind mine respraying when i can afford it,

 

i have in my mind for mine, honda civic red (cherry red colour from the last civic type R before the new one), with a slighly darker than graphite roof no idea what it would look like but thats the plan

Been thinking about colours again, can someone please change the vinyl roof colour to a gun metal grey (as it will painted) and put a thin stripe from the front along the top of the wing to the back of the car following the rear wing curve

Well I got my self Photoshop last night and have been learning how some bits work on it so here goes

This was the original colour of the car which is fern green.

I thought i would take the colour from my old mk1 Escort Mexico and try it on the Cortina
