Retro-gone. Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 nowt to do with getting old, ive watched stuff like this since i was a kid, finding old stuff after years of burial wether it be under land or sea just fascinates me for some reason.
louie bagel Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 i also like to watch that sort of thing as i love history and documentorys like that, i've been in most of the bunkers and command posts on the channel islands, and my dad and grandad have pulled ww2 cannons up from the bottom of deep cliffs on jersey where they had been laying since being thrown over at the end of the occupation
surfingturnip Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 have to say I missed it unfortunately but I really do find documentorys about unearthing stuff from ww1 and 2 to be extremely interesting. it possibly has something to do with the technical side of the machines and structures etc but also because its sort of closer to this time period, so I find it more interesting somehow. No idea why most of that was relevent but oh well
antz Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 i wasnt going to watch it but it just happened the cd i was listening to finished at 9pm so i flicked onto channel 4...and was mesmerized by the programme. loved studying ww1 in history at school.
