The capri 2.8i engine im putting in me Zephyr if im not mistaken needs a pressurised fuel system. im keeping the original fuel tank, what else do i need to make up the fuel system from scratch??

I would have thought the best way to do this would be to use the original tank and have a swirlpot feeding a high pressure pump.

Also why are you using a 2.8 injection engine? I'm really not a fan of the K-tronic injection system. I would strongly recommend you get a 2.9 12V engine from a Granada, or 24V from a Granada Cosworth. That way you get EFI :)

Alternatively put a carb manifold from a 2.8 Granada mk2 and a 38DGAS on the 2.8 engine to make your life much easier. :)

Firstly there is nothing wrong with the Bosch K Jetronic fuel injection system... it's easy to work on and it doesn't have a computer controlling it

The 2.8i fuel tank has a built in swirl pot which you will need, although I believe you can get a remote swirl pot... not sure if that is true.

If you use your tank, you will need an additional inlet put in for a fuel return, a swirl pot of some description, an Escort/Capri fuel pump (yes these are seperate to the tank), and an accumulator. The accumulators job is to keep the fuel system at pressure (approx 3 bar).

If you use a 2.8i tank, you will just need the pump and accumulator

Hope this helps
