countrybumpkin Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 as some of you may know i bought a conversion kit of ebay to put a 2.8 v6 in my land rover (needs to be more ford ) and it ''went missing'' in the post, well i have spoken to the seller a few times over the phone and he told me that it was sent out late, then that it had been returned due to not being able to deliver to me and then that it would be here today, but of course nothing came now when i try and phone him the call gets disconected before it even rings. i thought i could trust the seller as he has a couple of hundred positive feedback but at the moment it seems i cant, so can anyone sugest what i should do?
over_head_cam Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 How long have you been waiting?
countrybumpkin Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 since the 2nd of this month
over_head_cam Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I'd be tempted to ring him from a different number, e-mail him on the bay, and e-mail him direct. if there's no response, I'd start up a dispute and claim the money back. Give it a bit of time though, sometimes things can go wrong and it seems like the seller is a knob
R1.Andy Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 get your claim filed against him..u did pay with paypal i assume..
countrybumpkin Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 yeah i paid with paypal, i'm a bit reluctant to file a claim against him as he seemed genuine over the phone but i have emailed him and phoned from my mobile and home phone but i had already used both of these numbers so i'll have to see one of my mates and use theres
