mk2dk Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Is this a real genuine mk2 Mexico spoiler, as the title says ? How can it be featured in a 1970 RS catalog if it`s for a mk2, which was released in 1975. The reason I ask is because I bought one exactly like this one on ebay, same Ford RS no. 9055561. It dosn´t seem to fit a mk2, could it be an Escort MK1 spoiler or perhaps Capri ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 26_fvi%3D1
mk1mexico Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Its definately not a Genuine standard Mexico spoiler from this country.
tim Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 never seen a mk2 mex spoiler with the rs stampin on the side like that or that looked like that either.

escortmad79 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 german stuff tis mad they have allsorts of rsbits we dont all stamped upp too . It may be a typo and he means 1980 Or he means 1970s
Durham Fiesta Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 seen something similar before on a mk1 or 2 fiesta
over_head_cam Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Deffo not an escort, it would be curved or straight if it was. That would fit a car that's slightly pointed
mk2dk Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 Could be Fiesta mk1. I hope to get mine identifyed by the RS no.9055561. Then I can put it on ebay again.
