as this is the main base coat i want to use the best quality possible so i'd like to know what everyone recomends, good/bad experiences i want them all, oh and btw i'm painting the whole car

Probably best to ask your paint supplier. I doubt there is much difference between makes, but probably best to use the same manufacturers products right the way through.

yeah, i see what your saying but sometimes they just want to sell you the most expencive, so thats why i wanted other peoples experiances with the stuff

I used a chromate free one off ebay, it was 2k, but much nicer to use because of less fumes.

No probs with it either.
