Mine has been like it for 18 months now. It's not coming to any harm though.

My Escort with Pinto and twin 40 Dellortos does 32mpg on a long run. I can make it do less if I want to. No reason why not to use them daily. Mpg will go down if you drive like a dick, but it is hard not to with that noise.

50g Golden Virginia costs about £12 and lasts me 7 days normally, 6 if I am bored and I smoke way too much. If I was on tailor made it would be 25-30 a day. Whats that, £45 a week? Beats the hell out of me how anybody can afford ready made ones.

I am from a farming family and a couple of our farm houses have ghosts. Not in a scary way, they are just there and are regularly seen. Usually when someone is ill. This is all just matter of fact, not some "Oh my God there's a ghost" stuff. My cousins that live in the houses are not ones for making a song and dance about such things and are quite happy for them to be there. One of the houses in particular has always been known to be haunted. Never seen one myself and have stayed in both houses many times as a child. Happy to accept they are there all the same.

I work 19 days on, 2 days off. Yesterday was my day off. I got bored and went to work.

Why do people expect compensation for not looking where they are going? If I fell down a hole I generally reckon it would be my fault, not somebody elses. Manchester council seriously considered tarmacing every single pavement because it was cheaper than all the compensation claims.

I think I was about 12 when I was cut loose but it could have been before that. My lad is 21 and it hasn't properly happened yet. No idea why that is, and doesn't really make much sense as he has been on the other side of the planet for months. Times change I guess.

The flame is from a little firelighter in the bottom. It sits on a couple of pieces of wire. When they eventually land in a field, as they almost certainly will, the cows come along and eat the wire. Cows are a bit dumb like that. When they eat the wire they die. They also set fire to fields and sheds and cause a lot of false alarms for the RLNI when folk mistake them for emergency flares. Yes they look pretty cool, but they are a nuisance and will be banned before very long.
