v6power Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I like that a lot!! In the late eighties when I was a young whipper snapper working at a ford dealership, I found a brochure from the early seventies for a Mk1 1300e. I guess it is in the loft somewhere. Must have a look!!
kidcos Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 its in great original condition inside and has original floor pans, wings and sills but one sill needs work and one rear arch needs replacing! does anyone know what the colour is called? it i know its red!!! but it looks orange? i need a good colour match as im starting work on it next week. im keeping it original as far as looks go but it needs more power so ive got a 1600 ready to go in and will prob drop it 2 inches as well. also needs a engine bay tidy and i have just got a set of these to go on as the tops on the car are a bit patchy!!
Richierich Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Very nice! Wish mine was that tidy, where did u get those top plates from? Are they readily available? I have an MOT runnin out sunday and some major work needs doing!
