Stu_B Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 I'm gonna be putting my flipfront Anglia Estate on ebay soon. Just wanted a few opinions on the best time etc. What sort of time of day should I end the auction? I was thinking about 7 or 8 in the evening on a weekday or is the weekend better?
Mrs O/H/C Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 make sure that the auction is due to end on a weekend, pref sunday as most people are in on that night. Put as many pics up as possible. Be prepared to answer the most stupid questions too. Make it clear how long after the auction that you will give the buyer to collect. And also ask for a deposit within 24 hours, this should seperate the messers from the serious buyers. Hope that helps
Stu_B Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Posted January 7, 2009 Yeah, I always swore I'd never sell a car on ebay again after selling a mk1 golf twice & getting shafted twice a few years ago I can't see any other way of shifting it though The deposit sounds a good idea
richie_stix Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 sunday evening mate... always a good-un! as said before, people are more likely to be dossing on their computer, and more people on, the better the bidding war in the last minute will be
SmokeEm Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Whenever I've sold car's on ebay, I alway start the auction for 10days on a Thursday evening at 6pm
