Not sure whether I will be going again or not ... have been for the last 3 years and it is a very good show.

 

Last year we got a special invite by The Ace Cafe because it was a celebration of Ford's and so Ford clubs were invited.

 

This year you would have to park in the normal car park so wouldn't take my Escort :lol::lol:

Race Retro is in pole position to kick off a new season of motorsport as it races into Stoneleigh Park from the 13th to 15th March. Celebrity racers and riders confirmed so far include Rauno Aaltonen in his Monte Carlo Rally winning Mini Cooper, three times British Rally Champion Mark Higgins, and Russell Brookes, in his championship winning Andrews Heat for Hire sponsored Ford Sierra Cosworth. Celebrity riders include Mick Grant, former TT winner, Steve Parrish and Guy Martin. Bring your pictures and memorabilia to be signed by these motorsport legends.

 

Slowly Sideways GB is back with over 20 genuine ex works Group B rally cars tearing it up on the Live Rally Stage on Saturday and Sunday, ranging from Audi Quattros to Porsches, Lancias to Ford Escorts, along with a demonstration of the popular Historic Kart Racing. See how motor racing should be and get a taste for exhilaration with a passenger ride in a Caterham within Stoneleigh Park.

 

You can still save on your tickets by booking before 12th March 2009. Adult ticket prices are £20 for Friday and £15 for Saturday and Sunday if you book in advance and parking is free. Children’s tickets on Friday are £5 but free all weekend. Show opens from 9.30am and closes at 5.30pm Friday and Saturday and 4.30pm Sunday. no im waiting for a date for a scan on my shoulder and if the muscles are torn then i might have to have it operated on :roll:

it is indeed but its £30 to get i and park :roll: i wont be going back in a hurry for that reason

its a brilliant day out if you have never been before, lots of stuff to see & buy :shock: but I went in 07 and 08, and the second time it was the same stuff so we only spent half the day there which worked out a bit expensive

just back from the show, was alrite, a good variety of motors and some good rally action :thumbsup:

 

Pics will be in the events section when they are loaded onto photobucket which could be in around the next decade with the speed it does it at :lol:
