some one please help got a new bonnet catch spring in the post today but its difrent to the old one is my old one bent or the new one wrong

i would say its the same but perhaps wants abit more of a bend in it??

I would say the one on the left is correct the other one looks like it's been bent.

i think mine is like your new one.....why dont you take the grill off and put the catch in.....so if it dont undo then you can manually undo it and then bend it if need to be

im fitting a new one becouse the clamp that holds the sping in plasse was missing when i got the car so i got a new one of ebay and it came with the spring and bolt i think the old one has been bent but wanted to make sure
