Whats the story with the M20. It seems to be shut at J8 at the mo, plus lots of other probs on it.

 

Do you know if it will be open tomoz for those of us coming to the Ashford meet

Its Op Stack again!!, Cause of the bad weather Dover Port got closed down so the lorries all stack up, hopefully by the end of today the road should be open between J8 and 9. There is another closure further down the road between J11 and 12, this might still be in place but won't affect us. I was supposed to finish at 10 last night, but got in at 5 this morning!!!

been on and off for the last 2 weeks, i dont think you'll be able to predict that one i'm afraid, best make a back up route phil

Anyone coming from the west, take the A20 from J8, that will take you into Ashford

Or if you fancy a drive along the Kentish countryside then come off the M20 at J6 and then follow the signs for the A274 through villages like Headcorn, head towards Biddenden and then turn off for the A28. that takes you through to Ashford.

 

Thats the route I will be taking, I don't fancy sitting in all the queues
