today i went to speedshack for my oldskool slot mags then had new tyres fitted to them £160 for four 185/70/13s. then fitted the rears in the snow crikey there small compared to the 16s im taking off as to the fuel tank saga i repaired my old tank only to find i blocked the fuel out let pipe and it started to leak again then clive rang a doris who he had done some work for who had a few mk3 spares in pompey. so late night run to the coast to find a hideous amount of mk3 spares including the tank the fore mentioned slotmags and a set of estate rear springs. hand over the cash and come home. next afternoon after work i put the recently purchased tank in its hole n put a couple of litres of fuel in. to find it coming out just as quick so the next plan is i have just brought a 12gallon race tank to fit in the boot then cut the top half off the old tank to use as a spare wheel well
