bortaf Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 There are 2 differant 5ierra type 9 boxes ! the 4 pot pinto/CVH (wont fit) and the V6 (XR4i that will) you can also use the capri 2.8 flywheel/clutch and box

IF SO WHAT FLYWHEEL ETXRA DO YOU HAVE TO USE CHEERS you can use the v6 type 9 5 speed but it wont last very long on a 24v. you can use any 2.8/2.9 v6 flywheel, if i remember rightly the flywheel on 2.8 xr4i is a bit lighter than the 2.9 one. the best place for info on the 24v is the fordpower forum
