glenbo Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 what cylinders would you use .625 or .700 or .750?
pauln Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Mine came with .625 front and .7 back. I might experiment with .625 on the back just to see how it feels.
glenbo Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 to be honest i havent a clue i just brought one with no cylinders
pauln Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 You get a bit of natural bias because the front and rear pistons are normally different sizes (smaller on back). What brakes are you using, I am using (or will be soon) sierra cossy 4x4 brakes front and rear so the bias will just need fine tuning to suit the car (if I were using aftermarket 4 pots I might need to change cylinder sizes due to the larger piston area). What brakes do you plan to use as this may affect your choice?
ratman Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 On mine ive got .625 front & rear Used it on the ovals for years and now on the street with no problems ive got hi spec front 4 pots with cossy rear

You can lock the rears under hard braking so I wanted slight bias towards the front. I'd be inclined to take the 07 rear .625 front option but .625 on both would reduce pedal pressure. Thanks Mr Ratman I think I will try the .625 option since I know it works for you .
glenbo Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 have you got a servo fitted?i was thinking of getting a remote servo
pauln Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 have you got a servo fitted?i was thinking of getting a remote servo I don't think theres any way to fit a servo with a bias box. A good firm push and the car pulls up quick enough.
gpcmatric Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Have same set up as you .625 front and .7 on back good solid pedal no servo.m16 calipers and 9inc drums
