D-FENS Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 My dad had a knee replacement last year and it took about 5-6 months to get back to normal.He had the flush out done first and that didnt work so had a new knee joint.Suffered with massive swelling of the whole leg and a lot of pain its never gone back to the same size one year on .Hasnt got any pain now though.Mind you he was 76 when the op was done .
