We removed the wipers & folded in the door mirrors for less drag & let the tyres down to 12psi as unlike you, we don't have an LSD and were spinning through 1st & 2nd. The faster runs were with the bonnet on & we only ran it without to see if it would be quicker but it wasn't.

 

It wasn't cheating and since we were 0.87sec quicker than you - it worked

i noticed my times were dropping quite a lot also, should have carried on but i only did three runs early on, id have gone sub 15 i reckon but i didnt want to rev it above 5000 on sunday, theres no point killing the old thing.
