MK1 Escort Brake Unions Metric or Imperial ???

I have a 1972 L reg MK1 escort does anyone know if it will have metric or imperial brake unions.

 

Also i have a set of calipers from a mk2 escort will these take a metric or imperial fitting?

 

Any help would really be appreciated then i can get all my brakes built up and get my car back on the road once i know this

Mark 1 should be imperial and your mark 2 items should be metric

buy a fitting and try it out from your local spares shop to be sure

Where are you at cos i have just removed a full set of brake pipes from my mark 2 and i am more than happy to cut the ends of and post em to you

also got some imperial braided lines here second hand
